How this site makes money
The Apprentice Hub is free to read and always will be. Running it costs money and a lot of time, so here is exactly how it funds itself, and the rules we hold ourselves to.
Affiliate links
Some links in our tool and gear guides may earn us a small commission if you buy through them. It costs you nothing extra: the price is the same whether you use our link or type the retailer's address yourself. Where a page contains affiliate links, it says so.
The rules we follow
- •Recommendations are never for sale. Brands cannot pay to appear in a guide or to move up a list, and a commission never decides what we recommend.
- •We recommend what a qualified tradie would actually tell a first year to buy, including cheap options that earn us nothing.
- •If a brand ever sponsors something on this site, it will be labelled clearly as sponsored. No exceptions.
- •Advice about pay, rights and training always points to official sources, and no commercial arrangement touches those pages.
